Next week Friday April 30, 2010 Good Life welcome's JCB, a unit from Japan comprised of DJ Jun + MC Baz-K for a very special "Golden Week" Kick Off Party at Lotus Soundbar! We are glad to have them here to rock our monthly "BOOMBOX" party for vol. 3 as they last joined us for JT's birthday party in September of 2009 when DJ Masterkey graced us with his presence. These 2 dj's have been making big moves in Japan's rural town of Okayama and have put themselves on the map with a number of co-performances with some big name U.S. and Japan artists and producers along with the release of their mix cd KRUSH GROOVE. which hit record sales in the area they hale from. Presale tickets are now on sale at 88 TEE's on Kalakaua Avenue for $10 (21+) and $15(18+). And as a bonus we will be giving out JCB's mix cd KRUSH GROOVE to all those who purchase a presale ticket and show up at the event! There's more about JCB below.
JUN started his career as a DJ in the late 90's in Japan. From his humble beginning Jun has kept hard at work with a minimum of 100 performances every year, and has collaborated with a number of well known artists from across the genres from PETE ROCK /KENNY DOPE /GROUP HOME /MIC GERONIMO /BABY BUM /FIVE DEEZ /PASEROCK /DJ SPINNA /DJ MILO /KARIZMA to well known international dj's and artists such as MURO / DJKAORI / DJ HAZIME /NITROMICROPHONE UNDERGROUND. Well known producer/artist Pete Rock even went as far as to call DJ Jun a "classic" after one of their gigs together. Jun can rock any dancefloor with his unique style of blending HIPHOP with all types of music genres, and his wide range of selection from old and new school music, followed by his mixing abilities has garnered much support from core party freaks, dancers and DJs, and organizers from the music business scene in asia. JUN is known to be one of very few DJs with the ability to change any dancefloor atmosphere the moment he enters the dj booth. Jun's unique taste of “groove” is evident in his Mix CD series “JCB-Krush Groove” that has received high ratings in a country where mix Cd's are just as commercialized as artist's individual releases. Jun along with his side mc, Baz-K, are known as JCB.
